How does Scanpost work?

The mail that is sent to your post box, freepost number or branch address is recognised as scan mail by our sorting machines at night-time. We then divide your mail into scannable mail (such as letters) and non-scannable mail (such as magazines, advertising material and trade journals). We open your scannable mail, scan it and deliver it digitally into your accounting software or document management system.

Image ScanpostWe deliver non-scannable mail to your postal address the following morning without delay. Mail that is sent on Monday is available digitally before 12 a.m. on Tuesday.

Safe and reliable
We will only open your mail with your permission and we will treat your mail with the strictest confidentiality. We open and scan your mail in the scanning centre, which usually happens automatically and with the help of screened and trained employees. We do not open confidential mail that is addressed to the management.

Scanpost Invoices
Would you like to receive invoices directly in your accounting software? It's possible with Scanpost Invoices. Allow your incoming invoices to be sent to a specific post box, after which they are scanned at a central scanning centre. The most important details, such as sender, VAT amounts or bank details, are recognised by special software. You will receive your invoices digitally in your accounting software.

Do you receive at least 500 mail items per day? Then you can align Scanpost perfectly with your internal processing activities. Your post will be scanned, classified, indexed and delivered into your document management system; making your mail and archiving process as efficient as possible.
