With Postage Paid Mixed International, it does not matter (within limits) how heavy or large your items are. You just pay one average price per item for the whole consignment. It is not necessary to frank the items either. You simply use envelopes bearing the PostNL Port Betaald / Port Payé Pays Bas postage paid impression.

How does Postage Paid Mixed International work?

No minimum quantity
The number of mail items you tender each time is not important, providing you tender for a minimum amount of € 10 per zone (Europe or Rest of World).

Maximum weight: 2 kg

Sizes: 

  • Minimum size: 14 x 9 cm 
  • Maximum size: 38 x 26.5 x 3.2 cm


Franking and addressing
The mail should be franked using the PostNL Port Betaald / Port Payé Pays Bas postage paid impression. You can download the international postage paid logo. Your items should also state a return address for the Netherlands in the upper left-hand corner of the address label, as well as the correct Priority sticker or stamp. Separating and tendering
Your mail should be tendered, separated into items for within Europe and outside Europe, to one of the PostNL business counters or Business Points.

Outside the EU? Customs declaration form!
For goods items sent to countries outside the European Union, you will need a customs declaration form. Up to a value of € 425, you will need the CN22 customs declaration form, and for values higher than that, the CN23 customs declaration form.

What does Postage Paid Mixed International cost?

Rates
The rates for Postage Paid Mixed International are based on the average weight of all the letters in the consignment. Though there is no minimum quantity, there is a minimum amount of € 10 per consignment.

New rates can be found in the PostNL Rates brochure. You can also determine the correct rate using the Tarievenwijzer (electronic postal rate wizard).

There is a zero VAT rate for Postage Paid Mixed International.
