Our mail deliverers walk in every street in the Netherlands almost every day. For governments and companies, we are currently doing experiments in which our mail deliverers collect the requested information.
We help to keep the area clean, intact and safe
As cities fill up, it increases the strain on our living environment. Our mail deliverers use their Mijn Werk app on their smartphones to identify changes in the streetscape. They point out litter, weeds or loose pavement tiles to clients. And on request, we use sensors to measure the quality of the air and of roads. That information is useful to various parties, as they can use it to further improve our living environment.
We help answer clients’ specific questions
Mail deliverers’ daily presence in the neighbourhood gives them the knowledge to help answer questions to residents or on the neighbourhood. They can do that structurally and frequently. That comes in handy for utility companies, housing cooperatives and small and medium-sized businesses.
We help improve the well-being of residents
We offer services to parties that work for the well-being of residents such as information provision or help at home. We help them unite residents: with each other, with companies and with the government. Our mail deliverers are assigned to help e.g. to detect social isolation, or to take surveys among residents.
