We buy and sell worldwide. To do so, we need a large, reliable network. That is why transporters link their networks and work together. PostNL and Spring integrate the IT systems of various transporter networks. That way, we are able to use the right network for each transportation request and provide customers with correct and up-to-date information, for example on things like local rules and procedures.
Producers look for new ways to custom package and deliver their goods without the intervention of a retailer. Consumers have increasingly high expectations. Orders have to be made ready more quickly, and preferably continuously. PostNL doesn’t just deliver; we also assemble the goods more and more often. And companies that do not have their own storage options and who deal with increasing order processing outsource their fulfilment to PostNL.
Fresh flowers straight from the grower
We make home deliveries of flowers and plants a lot easier. Flower transport calls for extra care, water and certain temperatures. We and Chrysal asked packaging companies and education institutes to come up with smart packaging. We already deliver internationally, from grower to consumer. Now we are going beyond that, with new services webshops can use to very easily sell and send flowers.
Parcels easily sent to the other side of the world
Webshops will be able to send an order worldwide much more easily. We will offer an advanced platform with which they can properly organise their order and delivery processes and international shipments.

Household appliances delivered and assembled
With Extra@Home, offer clients like Electrolux the option to not only deliver but also install built-in appliances. To do so, PostNL took over the company Witgoed Services. The team has years of assembly experience and can handle any situation. And we are even going beyond that. We are working with retailers in the home industry on a new service in which we also assemble beds, closets and laminate floors for customers.
Gateway to Europe
Our business customers, especially in China, send their letterbox packages for Europe in a single batch to the Netherlands. PostNL delivers these packages to various European countries from our facilities in Amsterdam. This Gateway to Europe saves the customer a considerable amount of work.
From bakery to kitchen table
With smart packaging and smooth logistics, we help producers shorten their chain. Our intricate, national network will soon allow us to deliver fresh bread to your home a few times a week. The baker will bake bread for the whole country and gain a larger margin on the price of their bread.
