Thuiswinkel.org, GfK and PostNL decided to publish the Thuiswinkel Markt Monitor four times a year now instead of twice a year. Purchasing products and services online is becoming increasingly common in Dutch households. The goal of the Thuiswinkel Markt Monitor is to document developments in the e-commerce market more accurately and to provide an e-commerce policy tool.

Strategic policy

"Publishing the Thuiswinkel Markt Monitor four times a year allows us to keep our members up to date on developments in e-commerce. That way, they can adapt their strategic policies to the latest developments and have an advantage over the rest of the market," says Wijnand Jongen, Director of Thuiswinkel.org.
