Profits from stamps well spentCorina Gielbert, Director of the National Association for the Elderly, welcomed this year issue. By focusing on the four seasons with varying drawings by Janneke Brinkman, this issue allows the spotlight to remain on the Association for the Elderly for the whole year. This means there will be extra attention for the Association for the Elderly in the Netherlands.
Stamps match the seasonsJanneke Brinkman-Salentijn found it rather difficult to make a selection for the stamp sheetlets. “Of course, you have your favourite drawings that suit the seasons well. However, not every image is suitable in the first instance for a stamp. So I’ve used the most attractive designs as much as I could.”
PostNL and the National Association for the ElderlyPostNL feels that this collaboration with the National Association for the Elderly is very important. “ The Association achieves meaningful goals for the elderly. It’s nice to be able to contribute to this,” says Ludo Voorn.
Each ‘Janneke Brinkman-Salentijn’ stamp sheetlet consists of ten stamps marked with ‘Nederland 1’, the denomination for items up to 20g in weight destined for mail in the Netherlands. The stamp series will be available from 29 August at all post offices and via Collectclub.nl. The stamps are valid until further notice.
