is a good extension of the physical delivery of brochures," says Ger Jacobs, Commerce Director at PostNL. "It enables retailers to reach more households, for example those in rural areas or digitally oriented consumers. Also, Folders.nl offers a solution for households that prefer not to receive physical brochures for environmental reasons. They can now read these brochures online. "
The new service extends the reach of advertisers. Households that use a No / No- or No / Yes-sticker can still be reached through Folder.nl. Many of these households use the stickers because they do not want to receive large quantities of brochures, while they may still be interested in the brochures of, for example, drugstores. On the site, customers can search on category and will then find all brochures with the offers from drugstores, supermarkets or DIY stores.
Distinctive to Folders.nl is that the visitor can enter a specific keyword, a brand or a product. For example, if a consumer is looking for hairspray, he or she will be presented with all hairspray offers from the various brochures together. This way it is easy to find offers for specific products.
Retailers can upload their brochures and add contact details from multiple shops at any time.
This platform for brochures was developed in collaboration with various partners, including hybris and Publitas.com. hybris is the supplier of a multichannel e-commerce platform and Publitas.com is the market leader in digital brochures and strategic partner of Folders.nl. Publitas.com has provided the software for the digital conversion and indexation of the digital brochures. The collaboration with Wugly.NL will make it possible to show consumer reviews of nearly all Dutch shops.
In case of any discrepancy between this press release and the original Dutch version, the Dutch version will prevail.
