Stationspostgebouw

New PostNL head office

From 1 July 2021, PostNL’s new head office will be located in the former station post building, “Stationspostgebouw”, next to Den Haag HS station. This is where we loaded and unloaded mail trains last century – now it’ll serve as our stepping stone into the future.

About Stationspostgebouw

History

Stationspostgebouw was designed by Dutch architect Gustav Cornelis Bremer and construction work was completed in 1949. When PTT Post started using the building in 1949, mail trains were still being loaded and unloaded on the adjacent mail platform. We left the building in 2011, and are now returning “home”.

Into the future

Today, this national monument is a sustainable, inspiring, welcoming working environment that invites us to collaborate and come together. A national “orange” treasure located at the heart of society, this building is a place where we can work together to achieve our ambition: to be the leading logistics service provider for post and e-commerce in, to and from the Benelux region.

HS Kwartier

HS Kwartier (“HS Quarter”) is turning into a vibrant, progressive area with an industrial feel, combining life and work, study and entertainment, diversity and green spaces. Located near the busy Den Haag HS train station, HS Kwartier is intended to serve as an urban playground at the heart of the city – a place where everything comes together.
