How does it work?
In certain cases your parcel will be delivered straight to a PostNL-location, in which case you will receive a notification informing you where to pick up your shipment.
You will also receive a notification if we are unable to complete delivery after the first attempt at home wasn't successful. Your parcel will then be delivered at your nearest PostNL-location.
The address of the pickup location is written on the notification. You can pick up your parcel from 3 p.m. the next working day. We will hold on to your parcel for one week. If no one comes to collect in that time, the parcel will be returned to sender.
Please remember that you will be required to show an ID in order to pick up your parcel. Parcels requiring a signature can only be picked up by the addressee.
What does it cost?
For packets and parcels sent from non-EU countries customs clearance is required, which we will arrange for you. Depending on the contents and value, you may have to pay customs and other fees.
