Pick up your parcel at a PostNL location

If we are unable to complete a delivery, we will leave a notification to inform you where you can pick up your parcel. We will hold on to your parcel for two weeks. If no one comes to collect in that time, the parcel will be returned to sender.

How does it work?

In certain cases your parcel will be delivered straight to a PostNL-location, in which case you will receive a notification informing you where to pick up your shipment. You will also receive a notification if we are unable to complete delivery at the second attempt. 

The address of the pickup location is written on the notification. You can pick up your parcel from 3 p.m. the next working day. We will hold on to your parcel for two weeks. If no one comes to collect in that time, the parcel will be returned to sender.

Please remember that you will be required to show an ID in order to pick up your parcel. Parcels requiring a signature can only be picked up by the addressee.

What does it cost?

Letterbox Packets and parcels sent from non-EU countries will be inspected by customs. Depending on the contents and value, you may have to pay customs and other fees.
