Wat ga je doen?
As senior Fullstack developer you will become part of the Artemis team. The team is founded to build decision making applications. Data used by these applications are near real-time and need to present the data in an user-friendly manner to enable the internal PostNL organisation to plan and correct the operation. PostNL has the ambition to become the most efficient and innovative logistical post and e-commerce platform of the Benelux. This is why we are building a department called Digital Supply Chain Management. Our goal is to digitize the whole parcel supply chain (averaging 1.1 million parcels per day), make it data driven and insightful for the users. By doing this we want to plan and steer the supply chain as efficient, effective and sustainable as possible.
An example of an application build by the team is the Asset Monitor. The purpose of this application is to improve the distribution and minimize the loss of 330.000 role containers. The development team consists of a lead engineer, two back-end engineers, two front-end engineers, a scrummaster, a business analyst and a product owner. To create these applications as developer, you can make use of: Typescript, Vue, GraphQL and JSON. PostNL also uses the latest AWS serverless tools and works with CI/CD methods.
Onze ambitie
For the last 220 years we have been able to progress with the market and even get one step ahead. As a team we deliver, on average, 1.1 million parcels a day. Our Goal: to stay the favourite deliverer of the Netherlands. We believe that being a front runner in technology and using logistical intelligence will help us achieve that goal. That’s why you will find real-time control systems, and advanced applications of IoT, AI, data science, CI/CD, and in-house development of AWS serverless solutions. In your role as front-end developer you are an important link in creating real-time solutions.
Wat breng jij mee?
You are someone with multiple years of project experience as a developer and can develop a vision based upon solid experience plus. You are someone who likes to challenge the decisions made. The team is looking for someone who can lead a solid conversation with the team in order to work towards a suiting solution and someone who likes to share their knowledge in order to propel the team forwards. The team is very informal, high energy and has a very solid technical knowledge base.
- About 3 to 5 years of experience as a Fullstack developer, where you have worked with the following programming languages: TypeScript, Vue, GraphQL and JSON.
- Experience working in an agile surrounding
- AWS experience or the ambition to learn about AWS including working with this technology in a mission critical environment.

You will also receive:
- A base salary of minimal €3.633,- up to a maximum of €5.769,- (scale 10/11) based on a 37 hour work week.
- A workweek of 32-37 hours with a healthy work-life balance.
- 8% holiday pay and 25 days off if you work full-time.
