Sustainable logistics
Our sustainability policy is integral to our management system and applies across our entire organisation, being integrated in our strategy, goals, decision-making and risk management. Our Board of Management is responsible for its development, but its implementation is the business of all our divisions and business units.
Environmental management is a key element of our sustainability policy. We have devised ambitious goals to help us monitor and actively improve our impact, through our environmental management system, for instance, but also by drawing attention to the importance of environmental management both across and outside our own organisation. We believe that collaboration is crucial to achieving our goals.
Environmental management includes such things as climate, circularity and waste processing, protecting and restoring biodiversity and ecosystems, and preventing deforestation. Our policies and activities closely reflect our four strategic environmental pillars: clean kilometres, network efficiency, green products and services, and sustainable buildings and facilities.
