From 1 July 2025, PostNL will raise its domestic stamp price to €1.31. This is inevitable in the face of declining mail volumes and rising costs, with mail delivery now costing more than it brings in.

New stamp prices from 1 July 

On 16 April 2025, PostNL announced to pay a final dividend over 2024 of €0.04 per ordinary share in cash or shares at the option of the shareholders.

Ten years ago, PostNL was one of the first logistics service providers in the Netherlands to launch an app. It allowed users to easily track their parcels and adjust delivery. Since then, the PostNL app has evolved into the digital heart of parcel delivery. In 2024, 5.9 million people used the app. They enjoy convenience, can contact their delivery driver, gain insights in their shipment, and choose where their parcel is delivered.

Pim Berendsen started yesterday as CEO of PostNL. In this ‘seven questions to’, Pim looks ahead to the new role, shares his vision on the company, and points out where opportunities lie. “We have to make smart choices that are good for our customers, even if that requires daring to think or act differently.”

Herna Verhagen, CEO of PostNL, will be saying goodbye on 15 April and will then hand over to her successor Pim Berendsen. PostNL would like to thank Herna for her great work as CEO over the past 13 years and the direction she has given PostNL.
