When will my parcel be delivered?

On track & trace (also available in the PostNL app) you can always find the latest information about your parcel. Enter the track & trace code (barcode or 'niet-thuiscode') and the postcode of the recipient, and you will immediately see when we deliver your package.

What time will the courier arrive?

We cannot tell you exactly what time your package will be delivered. This depends on the amount of parcels, weather conditions and traffic on the road.

Not at home at the time of delivery

Did you miss the courier? Then your package will be delivered to the neighbours or a PostNL point. We will keep your parcel for one week at the PostNL point. After that we will return it to the sender.
You will find a track & trace code in your e-mail and in the PostNL app. With this code you can see where you can pick up your parcel or fill in the code in the track & trace tool above.
If you do not have a PostNL account, or if we have not recognized your e-mail address from the sender, the courier will still leave a note with a ‘niet-thuiscode’. With this code you can see on track & trace where you can pick up your package or fill in the code in the track & trace tool above.
A ‘niet-thuiscode’ always begins with the letters KG, followed by a number of digits. For example: KG123456

Parcel from abroad

Are you expecting a parcel from abroad? Then it is possible that it has not yet arrived in the Netherlands or that it has passed customs. In that case you can try to fill in the code on our international track & trace website. Often you can find information about your parcel there.

Package to foreign countries

How long your mail or parcel takes to arrive differs per destination. For each destination it is stated how many days the mail and parcels take to travel.
