Do you expect a parcel from a country outside the European Union? Then you will need to pay EU import duties. Sometimes the webshop arranges this and you pay the costs directly when you check out. If the webshop does not do this, we will arrange it for you and you can pay via us.

Track your parcel via track & trace. Using your track & trace code, you can see where your parcel is, when it will arrive and whether you still need to pay customs clearance costs.

Customs clearance fees?

For a parcel from outside the EU, you pay €3 in import duties per product category. Together with VAT and handling fees, these make up the customs clearance fees.

Pay customs clearance fees

You often pay these costs directly to the webshop when you check out. Sometimes you only pay once your parcel has arrived in the Netherlands. In that case, you pay via PostNL or another delivery service.

Import duties for parcels from outside the EU

There are rules for parcels from outside the EU. You must pay € 3 in import duties per product category. Please note: if we submit the customs declaration for your parcel, we must use the product categories provided by the sender. This means you might order three pairs of trousers and need to pay € 9 in import duties. In that case, the sender has listed each item separately on the customs form (CN22 or CN23).

How to pay customs clearance fees?

  • Go to track & trace

    We will direct you to track & trace via the email or letter. Enter your track & trace code and postcode there.

  • View the invoice and pay straight away

    You can find the invoice under ‘Customs clearance fees’. You can pay immediately using iDEAL, Wero or credit card.

  • We deliver your parcel

    Once payment has been made, we will deliver your parcel. You have 14 days to pay. After that, your parcel will be returned.
