Did you include a customs form?
Like all non-EU destinations, you must fill out a customs form when sending goods to the US. Failure to do so will likely result in the shipment being seized by customs.

Did you notify the recipient?
Depending on the contents and value, the recipient will be required to pay import duties. So it’s a good idea to notify them that a package is on its way.
